Photo From the First "Courting The Muse" Group
(Fall 2009)

Picture
In this photo, the group worked on a "Life List," using big sheets of newsprint paper, markers and crayons, and scraps from magazines.  The Life List was a brainstorm--grand and mundane--of things we want to do in our lives.  Some examples:  "get a monthly massage," "sit in a cafe in Paris all day,"  "grow an herb garden," "perform for an audience of 15,000."  The group members said they loved working on the newsprint, because it wasn't fancy--it was just a big sheet of crumply paper, and that gave them permission to let go of perfection and just play.
